19 year old Gino Maravilla has made his way into circus history books

19 year old TRAPEZE PERFORMER DOES QUADRUPLE SOMERSAULT Sept. 20, Mexico City, Mexico.... 19 year old flying trapeze super star Gino Maravilla has made his way into the pages of circus history books. He is the most recent of only a very few flyers ever to complete the quadruple somersault. That's 4 revolutions to the hands of the catcher.
Gino actually has been performing the quad for almost a year now. However at the 2006 International Circus Festival in Mexico, he did it on his first attempt, and to an audience that included many flying trapeze greats of the past. Among them was Miguel Vasquez, who in 1981 became the first flyer in history to complete the quad before a circus audience. 1, 2, 3, 4 somersaults to the hands of the catcher!
